John McMahon is currently First Vice President of Investments with Merrill Lynch in Oakland, California. His mission is to bring peace of mind to private investors regarding their financial lives with the utmost integrity through careful planning and ongoing monitoring. After successfully building his practice for over 25 years, he is focusing his business to integrate his personal values of supporting environmental groups and working with socially conscious business leaders and individuals.
John has been an active participant in efforts to protect and preserve a large portion of the Central California coastline, which has been threatened with development and overpopulation. In 1997, John established—and still spearheads—an annual program that raises funds to provide meals for the less fortunate during the holiday season. Last year the program fed over 6,000 people and their families. An avid outdoorsman, John travels around the world surfing, fishing, sailing.
